One Caribbean 0 – 1 Islanders
From the onset the Islanders side came out swinging, linking together a couple of early shots on goal. One Caribbean having one of their players sent off early in the first half didn’t help either, but One Caribbean weren’t just target practice, however, they pushed back and seemed to match the Islanders shot for shot and stride for stride. This left both sides scoreless. Seemingly the tight battle was too much for One Caribbean as their Polius (16) mistimed a clearance and it ended in the back of the net. Despite desperate attempts to equalize by One Caribbean, the game ended 1 nothing in favor of Islanders.
Sugar Boys 2 – 0 Old Madrid
Sugar Boys were anything but nice at last Sunday’s game. Striker Redhead (7) scored early for Sugar Boys, netting one in just 7 minutes. For the majority of the first half, The Old Madrid side never seemed to be able to settle down and get their footing. They were able to put a couple of shots to goal but did little to trouble goalkeeper for Sugar Boys Williams (1). Into the second half, Madrid did seem to finally get in the groove, but it was short-lived when Mohammad scored an amazing free kick in the 60th minute. Sugar Boys continued to hold strong and ended up as the victors after the whistle blew to signal the end of full time.
